Our Bespoke Kitchen Design Process
Poliform kitchens bring together Italian design, refined materials and exceptional functionality.
Made entirely in Italy, each kitchen is designed as part of Poliform’s wider vision for the home, combining precise detailing, durable materials and a high level of compositional flexibility.
At Studio Italia, our design team works closely with each client from initial consultation through to planning, finishes and detailed design development, creating a kitchen tailored to the architecture of the home and the way it is lived in.

Step 1
Book an Appointment
Make an appointment with the Studio Italia design team. At this initial consultation, the team will discuss your kitchen wish list and the project’s specifications. Working directly with you, your architect or designer, Studio Italia ensures that all elements of your kitchen will meet your functional, budget and aesthetic requirements.

Step 2
Design & Refine
Based on your brief, the Studio Italia design team will present a layout and indicative price range. A design fee, dependent on the complexity and size of the project, will then be discussed to progress the design.
Over a series of meetings, the team will refine the layout, finishes and details to meet your needs. Our showroom kitchens allow you to experience materials, finishes and fittings in person as your kitchen takes shape.

Step 3
Custom Manufactured
Once the design, materials and costs have been approved, the design team will produce plans and elevations of the kitchen. A full package of technical information is then issued when the order is placed. An invoice will be raised and your order is confirmed by way of a 50% deposit. Your kitchen is then manufactured to your specifications, tested and fully assembled in Como, Italy, for delivery to New Zealand.

Step 4
Project Management
Our in-house team will project manage the delivery and installation of your Poliform kitchen, working with your builder and architect to meet your timelines. From initial preparations and onsite inspections through to final installation, every detail is covered to accurately and efficiently match specifications.
